SALUKI NEWS FROM SPAIN AND SOUTH OF FRANCE OCTOBER 2007

Hi everybody

This October there were some National and International shows in Spain and south of France with saluki participation.

Unfortunately I don’t have the name of the judge and owners of the show in Madrid, the winner was Hyrkanya Yandrak a particolour white and cream male who was BOB and BIG.

The BOB in Martorell and Perpignan was Qirmizi Hidalgo (litterbrother of multichampion Qirmizi Hermione), a tricolour male owned by Drina Stojsic. He won also the unnoficial title "Two Catalonias Champion". The BOS was for the grizzle girl Damris Djaal Lhilal in both shows (owned by Daan Vantyghem), judges were Jean-Louis Gründheid in Perpignan and Luis Pinto Teixeira in Martorell.

In Velez-Malaga there was only a female puppy, Kayla who was best saluki puppy under Angela Hauncher.

In November, 24 will be the spanish Saluki and Afghan Hound Speciality, judges will be Iñigo García Monedero for salukis and Cinzia Aymaretti Camia for afghan hounds, more info in www.cegas.net.
